should not be a problem bringing over books ect from 2.1 via cwm, the previous recovery images can be safely removed, if you've a pc id copy them over first just to be sure, id leave at least one copy incase anything goes wrong so you've got a get out of jail card, sounds like you need a bigger sdcard, consensus is you can get upto 32gig card, but 8 is the normal :)

i will make sure copy them before i do it. iam using an 8gb sd card, but i thought the racer could only take up to 8g? i know the Aussie version use`s a 32 g sd card i didnt know we could do that.smile.gif 1 more thing i was using Battery Calibration(an app from the market) and it stated that my phone wasn`t rooted,i know my phone was rooted as i did it before i even started putting diff ROMS`s on my phone.has this ROM `un` rooted it? or was it just the app not working right?

your phone is definitely rooted as it comes with the rom and your using ti, don't think anyone here uses a 32gig card due to it would probably cost more than the phone, Tigtex confirmed this(32) and I've no reason to doubt his words. don't need to use an app to calibrate the battery, just charge, turn off phone and charge again ,boot into cwm, go to advanced and pick clear battery stats, reboot and done.
