Guest skittleys Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) *Somewhere* on these forums, there is a post about using malez-recovery with Froyo (and making the recovery persist after the reboot) that says something along the lines of: Now I tried it myself and can see what everyone's talking about... Here's the fix: Don't let the phone reboot, instead unplug usb, remove battery, boot into recovery.... The actual post is much longer than that. I have been searching for over an hour and can't find it! I *think* I remember all the steps, but it's my first time rooting, and I want as little room for error as possible! The "alternate" version is actually based on the post that I'm referring to (and that I still can't find).
