There seem to be a few reported unresponsive digitiser happenings, usually after flashing a Rom.

I have three OSF/Blades which I like to flash the latest roms too, one has never given any trouble, one I cured by flashing roms as suggested by others and has not given any trouble since, one became unresponsive after flashing a rom and is still in this state after weeks of trying various remedies found in various threads. I have even replaced the digitiser on this one with no effect.

Random thoughts :-

I see that the emode tests include some which involve the touchscreen - Touchpaint Test - Delete(Touchscreen) calibration file - Touchscreen Updater.

The snag being that even if they provided a cure, they are inaccessible without the touch screen.

If they could provide a solution, what is the possibility of including the calls in Clockworkmod where they could then be accessed by the buttons.

I apologise in advance if these are rubbish thoughts but I have got quite frustrated at not being able to solve it.

They don't work because of lack of drivers for the digitizer in the kernel

Thanks for the reply, I did suspect that there would be a snag somewhere

Trying to narrow things down a bit, I decided to cross my fingers and swap the digitisers on two of my OSFs

The results were, that both digitisers work on one phone, but niether digitiser works on the other phone

I think this perhaps means a missing/incorrect driver or cfg file - a bit beyond my capabilities - perhaps get sorted by someone sometime :(

Clockworkmod gui uses the touchsceen so the devs must have sussed out the drivers <_<

Try CM7 It should have these drivers

Have tried CM7 and SS5 previously without success, have just tried 213 likewise.

The drivers must be pretty low level so perhaps a TPT would be better, but coundn't see one for CM7
