Guest Navie Posted October 2, 2011 Report Posted October 2, 2011 (edited) Using Tillaz's BlueMonte rom (V1.5) The power control looking widget is called 'Extended Controls' provided with the rom. The dock icons were downloaded and I had to resize them, they are from a theme from 'S23'. The clock widget is called 'ClockQ'. I have replaced the notification bar with the stock rom as I prefer the green colour. A calendar widget from an app called 'Jorte', which is free from the Market, can be Synced to your Google account, background is black and made transparent. Another 'Jorte' widget, this time showing the agenda, transparent black being displayed to blend in with the wallpaper. Here I am using an app called 'Tasks+ Pro Version', it can be synced to my Google account and, my 'Jorte' app copies the Google synced info from this as 'Tasks+' does not offer a calendar. Other 'Tasks+' widgets showing different tasks. Here is my university timetable, the app I am using to show this .png photo file is called 'Android Photo Widget', which is free from the Market. The number of missed calls and unread messages are shown near the icon in the dockbar. Edited October 2, 2011 by Navie
Guest stiefanu Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 Hi Navie. Which files of the stock rom did you put in the Bluemonte rom to change the notification bar? I'd like to get files of notification bar from CM7 and put them in Bluemonte. Because i love notification power widget..it's possible to do?:)
Guest Navie Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 (edited) Hi Navie. Which files of the stock rom did you put in the Bluemonte rom to change the notification bar? I'd like to get files of notification bar from CM7 and put them in Bluemonte. Because i love notification power widget..it's possible to do?:) The files that I used were 'framework-res.apk', which is located in the 'framework' folder and...'SystemUI.apk' located in the 'app' folder. Initially I replaced the SystemUI.apk file with the stock version but nothing happened in changing the notification bar icons and colours, then I used 'framework-res.apk' and my notification icon colours were changed along with the notification icons, this makes me think that you only need to replace the 'framework-res.apk', however...that's only a guess and replacing both files doesn't do any harm. There is one thing I noticed when I flashed my new rom with the new files, after flashing and putting all widgtes in place, I switched off my phone for the night and put the battery on charge, when I switched it on in the morning all the widgets were displaying 'Can't load widget' so had to put them in place again, however...everything is fine now and I think that error may have been due to the SD card, my SMS messages had also come back. Regarding the notification power widget, maybe you need to copy the app over from that CM7 rom? Its been a while since I used CM7 so can't remember much about the power widget. Guest stiefanu Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 Sorry, double post. Don't worry. However yes, i put that file in framework folder three times. The first time i replaced all the folder; The second, only files in the bluemonte folder; The third only framework-res.apk. But the result was the same.
