Guest flux88 Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 The Blade was my first Android device. I must have another Android device but I'm not sure which one. I want something that will run the Cyanogen mod smoothly. Also a device with a better battery than the blade. I'm wondering what is the typical upgrade path for previous Blade users? Thanks.
Guest no1john Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 How much money are you willing to spend on a new smart phone
Guest flux88 Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 (edited) If I would have to put a figure on it I would say around £150. Mostly looking for bang for buck though. ZTE Blade was perfect for this. Don't wont to through away money for very little increase especially in fast moving tech. I'm pretty good at finding decent deals on ebay and such like :) Edited October 4, 2011 by flux88
Guest Pelemane Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 U8800. It's great and soon it will have official CM. There is unofficial port already.
Guest tsddave Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Well if I was you I would scan ebay for the best phone I can get for that cash. Then I would see what roms are available before buying. Lets face it in the last 4-5 months some really nice phones have come out but your not going to get anything super speedy for that money....not that I think I would want to spend much more than £150 for a phone myself. I would save the real cash for an Android tablet if anything!
Guest HACKDROID Posted October 8, 2011 Report Posted October 8, 2011 Desire HD i would suggest , i lost my blade too and then bought a desire hd only to find a week later that i found my blade but now it just sits on a shelf collecting dust its an oled one too ,the desire hd is in a league of its own its just a great device tbh with its second gen 1ghz cpu its amazingly fast compared to the blade and i have it running at a rock solid and stable 1.61ghz atm and running on official 2.3 but with custom sense 3.0 rather than sense 2.0 also has flash 11 support and loads more let alone the build quality and the hd vidoe recording camera is excellent . Xda is the place for the desire hd and the list of roms is endless too
