Guest Sidecar_jon Posted October 5, 2011 Report Posted October 5, 2011 Bit of a noob here (but i do look every day and marvel at the hard work and cleverness of persons here)..anyway Our house is bit of a bad place for mobile signals. A move of a foot and the calls is dropped, even picking the thing up can end a call. So i thought signal boost app from Orange sounded good. However, it stops working whenever the phone sleeps! So its lost any signal it had when its gone to sleep and so is virtually useless.... have i missed a really obvious way of either keeping it going or some way of increasing the signal....?

Guest philmein Posted October 5, 2011 Report Posted October 5, 2011 ill check mine never noticed before are you on the stock orange rom??
Guest philmein Posted October 5, 2011 Report Posted October 5, 2011 just got the wife to ring me after being in sleepmode and signal boost was still on im using bluemonte 1.6
Guest Sidecar_jon Posted October 5, 2011 Report Posted October 5, 2011 It;s on stock rooted (thanks for the guide BTW) so i could lop off the Orangey bits. The call boost thing shows as a "monopoly house" in the top bar, its red when it wakes up and goes green to indicate its on....Ive been watching the Bluemote thread and am poised to install it as soon as a new 16 gig micro SD arrives. Thanks for the suggestions!
