Guest xathras Posted October 7, 2011 Report Posted October 7, 2011 I'm using the stock launcher with Vegacomb, but before that my personal fovourite was VTL.Launcher. https://market.andro....launcher&hl=en
Guest rferrett Posted October 7, 2011 Report Posted October 7, 2011 On that how come there are no honeycomb custom launchers yet?
Guest xathras Posted October 7, 2011 Report Posted October 7, 2011 (edited) On that how come there are no honeycomb custom launchers yet? I find the stock launcher that Vegacomb uses so good that I'm not looking for another. On the subject of the general lack of Honeycomb-specific apps, I've seen it suggested that a lot of Android app developers are waiting for Ice Cream Sandwich to arrive so that they can write just one app that will work on both phones and tablets instead of having to write one app for Android 2.2/2.3 and another for Android 3. Guest xathras Posted October 7, 2011 Report Posted October 7, 2011 yes there is this, but this is still a Google app and not an open sorse app made by external dev.:) I've been using Dolphin for Pad for a couple of weeks and now prefer it to Dolphin HD. On it's page in the market it says: "Requires Android 3.0 and up". https://market.andro...owser.pad&hl=en
Guest jevdroid Posted October 7, 2011 Report Posted October 7, 2011 is honeycomb still closed sorse and as yet not available for developer to mess with.:) Closed source, yes. But the SDK has been available for some time now. A launcher is not very different from any other application and thus this really is no reason why there is no specific honeycomb-launcher. The standard launcher for honeycomb is pretty good, there isn't much I would like to see different there. I guess that vision is shared with most...
