San Fran won't turn on

Hello!

I've had my San Fran for 10 months now and have noticed that the on button sometimes was a bit tricky to turn on. My phone played up and all I kept getting was the green Android. I put it on charge and got a charge light. However, I can leave it on charge and the back key glows read but it will not turn on. I wonder if this could be the switch or the battery or worse. This phone is unmodded but unlocked. I wonder if that's ok to get repaired within the 12 month warranty?

If it's unmodded I can't see a problem with sending back under garuantee.
