Modding GEN2 (Australia) the same ?

Hello, I have purchased a Liquid MT and its on the way, but i would like to know if

it is flashed/modded the same way as all the others ?

Or do i have to flash specific things for the GEN2 model ?

i flashed mine with gingerounay with no issues.

the only issue i had was i had to run it on optus which worked out better anyways :)

Hi Noogai,

I bought a Liq MT that was locked to Telstra and updated it to EMEA 4.00.07 (from AAP 3.x.x.x) straight out of the box without any problems. The only difference is that you wont have the chinese keyboard...

You will probably find that you will need to download the acer download tool to update from AAP to EMEA as you will get an error if you try to do it through recovery..

I am using athe Ginger_dmd_4.000.07_aosp ROM with a TPG sim and it works fine,

I just put the pre paid Telstra SIM in that came with the mobile and it detects it and i could call the activation service, but cbf activitating it... I assume if i got that far it is working...
