Market Problems

Hi I am using R5 ( I know its way behind but it does everything that I want!!) ..............since market updated I am having a lot of problems with it closing down on me at varying times and requesting a force close. When I uninstall the updates to Market then it works perfectly however it seems to reapply the updates immediately I close Market app and is updated when i reopen it!!!. any ideas how to prevent it updating automatically as I can't see any settings to prevent this happening. I don't want to reapply any of the roms available if I can avoid it as the vega R5 does everything that I need/want.

ahem sorry..... where do I access the system apps tried through settings and ifile manager but can't locate ... really need to increase my knowledge/expertise with this tablet!!!

Not sure though I probably don't do I need to attach vega to the PC at any point?

reset to market that works and download root check ,run that and it will tell you if you've got root or not, need to know if you've got root first:)

the fact you can uninstall the update is good.

yes I have root access and busybox is installed correctly !! (whatever that is !!)

To freeze, install Titanium Backup. It has a freezer - and "Chuck Norris" mode! How cool is that? ;)

if you don't have titanium back up, or don't won't to buy it, antek app manager root will do the job, it's free on market. I use titanium back up,but the antek will work:) just find market updater and freeze it, put the version of market that works back, and sorted.

installed antek app manager and have frozen market !!

will wait till market has a future update then will try it to see if it has resolved the problem
