ok so i installed prime 9 with the default kernel and gps fix 1 and 2. as far as i can tell all is well except my sms is not sending or receiving. please help!

You have to be on Baseband 71 . Otherwise sms issues will happen .

I'm on Prime 9 with the French language and I have the DND settings in chinese :lol: and some sms settings in english (using the fix for sms because FC)

In network settings, network operator give me "error while searching a network"

Whitout this it's great like other oodie's work B)

Searching network error is a usual error in every prime . couldn't resolve it .

Thanks Oodie I have install the fixv2 and some words are in chinese or english again :lol:

I don't know if sms work because I wait for my new sim card ;)

Only Gmail in English and not in French :P

What version are you on prime 9 or X? I'm on prime x without lang pack and phone app is fully english.

Don't know what'll happen with the language pack.

Have you restore some settings with miui backup because I don't have chinese in dialer, everything is in french for me, only a little setting & gmail are in english but don't disturb me :)

What language are you using for testing it ?

Using English just install prime x over the rom without doing a clean install and problem solved dialler in English! But I only restore texts,contacts and layout through miui backup I use titanium backup restores wifi Bluetooth and system setting without wlod

Don't restore contact with it ;) sync with your google account that's more simple :)

Ringtones always Bug for me you have to take it by the music app, long press it and add ringtones ;) it works by this way

I have to edit theme to set ringtone SMS notification as for some reason while setting in sounds doesn't work

For me only rigtones always bug when I select it in sound settings but notification or sms are working :blink:

as i've said earlier ,

1. If you want ringtones changed - change it via Themes .

2. If you want a mp3 as a ringtone - Go to music app , browse to the song you want , long press , set as ringtone .

Loving the ROM - it's easily the fastest, smoothest one I've used yet and has breathed enough life into my X10 to keep it running until my handset upgrade in October.

Only problem (if you can call it that) I have found is some apps that I've run previously now won't install as Android Market tells me that they are not compatible with my 'Sony Ericsson X10i'

Is there any way round this? I'm assuming there is a string in build.prop or some other file that identifies the handset - could this be updated to make the handset to appear to be a standard X10i?
