Guest glossywhite Posted October 9, 2011 Report Posted October 9, 2011 Orange logo? What Orange logo? Amazing stuff, sugar!
Guest yaylol Posted October 9, 2011 Report Posted October 9, 2011 Nothing personal, but I rather appreciate any unlock progress than a paintwork. :D

Guest achromic Posted October 9, 2011 Report Posted October 9, 2011 Good job :) though personally use a sugar cube but good job all the same. Now for the case modding to begin lol Sent from my ZTE-BLADE using Tapatalk
Guest glossywhite Posted October 9, 2011 Report Posted October 9, 2011 so how do you do it. Press your finger into a heap of sugar, and rub for all you're worth, until it wears off (took me half an hour!)
Guest FoxVictor.be Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 Press your finger into a heap of sugar, and rub for all you're worth, until it wears off (took me half an hour!) Thanks for the tip! It sounded so crazy I had to try it, gone with the logo in 17 minutes flat! Refreshing the sugar every minute helps a lot
Guest v1pEr Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 nice job mate!!! wow nice, the sugar doesn't scratch the back cover? Do you press hard or only slightly?
Guest dadashi Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 (edited) of course you're going to get scratches and spoil the finish...I won't touch mine. I got a really great SIKAI black gel case with a thick screen protector which'll keep my OMC scratch free for years.... I just sold my 4 year old damage and scratch free nokia N95 for £85 on ebay...scratched up N95's go for approx. £30... Edited November 10, 2011 by dadashi
Guest glossywhite Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 (edited) @dadashi Sugar is used BECAUSE it does not scratch the finish of the plastic. It wasn't just an arbitrary decision to use it, if you think about it more. Your scepticism will evaporate, once you've tried this, but until you do, many others will confirm your fears are unfounded. Someone bought an N95? I'd have bought an £8 Nokia 1800, which at least does what it is designed to. Edited November 10, 2011 by glossywhite

It is true, I have also tried this sugar method on Optimus mark(idk if it is the same material used), but since I'm too impatient I didn't go all the way through so I quited after 3 or 4 minutes :P But I had not a single scratch...
Guest v1pEr Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 of course you're going to get scratches and spoil the finish...I won't touch mine. I actually didn't believe my eyes also, but the sugar really works!
Guest Voxpop2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Orange logo? What Orange logo? Amazing stuff, sugar! Good heavens, how did you do that without damaging the shine?
Guest v1pEr Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 (edited) Good heavens, how did you do that without damaging the shine? Just take a sugar cube and start rubbing it! you'll see it doesn't make any scratches as long as you don't press TOO hard... Edited November 13, 2011 by v1pEr
Guest glossywhite Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 People don't seem to be understanding why we use sugar... and not sand :P
Guest plegdroid Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Orange logo? What Orange logo? Amazing stuff, sugar! thanks, absolute genius! :D
