[solved] Screen remains blank after call (CM7 n216)

I recently installed CM7 nightly 216 and noticed that there's a problem when calling. The screen goes blank and remains blank during and after the call. Sometimes I've got the screen back by pushing the power button or connecting a power cable but most of the time I can only get the screen back by removing the battery.

Here are a few of my observations in the short time I've tested:

  • It always required battery removal if I make a call using the csipsimple app which is integrated into the dialler.
    • Before going blank the status line is visible for a short time while the rest of the screen is blank.

    [*]Sometimes when making a normal (non-sip) call the screen remains on and the proximity sensor does not turn it off when something's close to it.

    In the Automatic ambient light settings (CM-settings->Screen->Automatic ambient light->Adjust other levels) I can see that the proximity sensor level corresponds well to proximity.

    Does anyone have any idea what to do about this?

you have to calibrate the proximity sensor in the ZTE Blade Settings app in your app drawer.
