Guest bogazicili90 Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 Hi everybody, do you know an android application that backup and restore all the current status of your phone? For example the system settings, SMS, MMS, APNs and the most important, the applications that we categorized such as system tools, multimedia, games, TVs & radios. In short, I search an application just like the windows's system restoring tool. I am awaiting your suggestions please...
Guest Squide Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 Root your device, install ROM manager, flash the ClockWorkMod... boot inside clockworkmod and do the Nandroid Backup.. it work like Ghost in windows.. but still some partition level optimization need to be re-apply after the restore..

Spuide, thanks your suggestion but I already know that option. However, as you said it does a noandroid backup. ın other words It all bacup the android system, that is ROM. I do not the application to backup the system. Just the all settings of system and apps. I search such an application because I offen change my ROM and since I categorized my apps as I mentioned above, I do not want to reorganize them after each ROM installation.
Guest René Klunder Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 (edited) When you used CMnightlies you may have used the internal memory/SD switch and all you need to do is move apps back from 'nowhere' to the phone in settings/apps. Now (after this) move them to current app2sd location. Nandroid gives me everything exactly back right away apps/settings data (BTW I THINK YOU didn't understand nandroid like it works) http://dcom.me/cY7hw Edited October 10, 2011 by René Klunder

It is out of question. In addition, I do not use CMnightlies and will never use.
Guest René Klunder Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 (edited) Check the app in my previous reply mybackup pro (don't update because it's cool for 3p-apps + data) When phone crashes into reboot take half or only the large apps and no settings yet, then restore rest (too many large-volume apps at once) Edited October 10, 2011 by René Klunder
Guest bogazicili90 Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 Check the app in my previous reply mybackup pro (don't update because it's cool for 3p-apps + data) I tried mybackup pro latest version but it s*** on my phone. While restoring the apps and data the phone rebooted. After reboot only 15 apps were restored I tried it again but now it was the same.
Guest aaww Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 TitaniumBackup - is the best to backup your apps/settings and current status(game saves and so on) CWM - is to backup rom I also use Sprite Backup(it is in Pauls kitchen as well) to backup my contacts/sms/calendar (i have an online backup with google but keep a copy on file). If you use all 3, you can get Everything backed up safely :) Hope I helped.

I tried it as well it successfully restores but the all apps remain under the downloaded applications. I categorize my apps and I searc an app that restore them under the catogories.
Guest René Klunder Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 I'm Titanium Backup Pro user too but those Apps are well-known already so I don't really understand our friends issue coz there are many apps free and paid that perform (batch) backups they store either online or local(SD) everything can be restored (rommanager free too - nandroid)
Guest René Klunder Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 (edited) (Reply) You want to modify 3p-apps to system-apps ? Ti Backup Pro press longer on item Screenshot http://ff-fever.post...t-app-to-system Edited October 10, 2011 by René Klunder

Guest Rusty! Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 To be fair, I don't think anyone understands what you mean. I had come to the same conclusion as René

Guest René Klunder Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 Ok, let me say this: if you like a video in which I backup my rom with CWM/Rom-mngr and wipe3x(advanced) to show the way 2 nandroid restore options? Its so good or 'complete' that you can immediately insert pin (no 50sec waiting for dalvik cache to restore like after a rom flash) I also flashed the Aug 12 GBleak with the nandroid file by faking a rom restore while it was an update including a nandroidfile and a busybox installer. Understand?
Guest René Klunder Posted October 11, 2011 Report Posted October 11, 2011 Rusty was not trying to be funny: he says he thought you wanted 2 find an app to backup 100% (restore exactly like what you have backed up=CWM-backup via rommanager) Your categories too, even (not opened yet) a statusbar download notification is restored) MEANING we both can't tell you about OTHER apps when Rommanager's backup does restore your device 100/100 :-)
