multiple phone connection

Hello to the forum.

My question, I have one android phone at the moment a zte blade but plan on getting zte skate next. I want to keep my android phone and any future ones. is there a app or alternate operating system that that will allow me to link/stack phones together so they form one unit sharing processing power and tasks and maybe hook up ssd drive and of course screen and keyboard. Universities and military have linked ps3's together, so why not android phones?. Silent media ctre. Maybe it's just not possible but i hate waste. Thanks.
