Guest Tahsin Posted October 11, 2011 Report Posted October 11, 2011 It seems after updating to that, my google talk has dissappeared, well yeah. So I had to revert back to my old one, does this mean that the ZTE BLADE is not compatible with the 2.3.4 Google talk with video chat features and others.. etc. Please someone help? Is there anyway to get the latest version of google talk in ZTE BLADE without making it dissapear or force close. THANKS IN ADVANCED!

THANKS IN ADVANCED! go here http://goo-inside.me/gapps and get gapps-gb-20110828-newtalk-signed.zip put it on the sdcard reboot into recovery (clockworkmod), choose select zip file from sd card, choose the one you downloaded and flash it. BUT, without a front facing camera, having the new talk doesn't do that much for the blade (apart from bugfixes and stuff)

Guest ojconcentrate Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 thanks! I never upgraded myself (never thought of doing it until i read your post but i knew it existed). It seems that on the blade the video (or just audio) chat function doesn't work. when you click the little camera or speaker to make a 'call' the activity just hangs and eventually comes up with a 'force clode' dialog. i dont know if this is something specific to blades or it also happens with other phones. but the new app seems to work better (i use talk on the desktop as well and it seems they sync better the chats).
Guest sej7278 Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 google talk video requires arm7 which the blade doesn't have (and a 2nd camera really!)
