Please try again. Having real trouble finding my wireless access point, usually the list of APs come up straight away, but seems quite slow, and the one i use here is just not on the list. If i add the AP manually to the list, it says its out of range. OK, figured it out, for those having similar problems, you have to select a Wi-Fi channel below 13, not sure, i found 9 works. Guest farfanet Posted October 25, 2011 Report Posted October 25, 2011 (edited) I came from 2.3.3. Update amss and dsp1 first and then flash this 2.4.1. Then factory reset. I've got FC's with Dell Launcher.. So i got to reinstall, again factory reset and keeps issues with FC's on Dell Launcher. So im stuck on this... Guest hacktor Posted October 25, 2011 Report Posted October 25, 2011 (edited) Hopefully this helps some people. Install was very easy coming from Longhorn 1.1. Here is what I followed: 1. Factory reset (DELL) 2. Flash amss and dsp1 files 3. Flash GingerStreak 2.4 4. Clear cache 5. Factory reset All is working well so far, will report back with any bugs. EDIT: There is still a small nuisance with Facebook loading the mobile page that one would see in the browser. I looked around the thread though and found the very helpful FRAMEWORK-RES.APK fie and used that on my device. SUCCESS! Edited October 25, 2011 by hacktor

It all depends on what you're running and what you have enabled. I've actually been pretty surprised. I have all animations allowed and running Juice Defender and a couple of widgets enabled and I get an average of 1500-1550.

I currently use SimpleStreak v1.3beta rom, which is android 2.2!! And it goes really smooth and stable. With all animation loaded and 8 widgets on GO launcher ex (7 pages), I got quadrant scored around 1400.... So what is the point to move from 2.2 to 2.4? I thought the new rom with the latest kernel would reach a much higher score, like 1800....LOL ..... well, still really appreciate the great job that have been done...... Seems 2.2 is not yet out of date. ha!
