Automatic brightness/Autobacklight?

Hi,

I'm running on CM7. I enabled "Automatic brightness" and also "Automatic backlight". I set custom levels for backlight (as suggested somewhere in this forum) and allowed "Allow light decrease". I'm not sure whether it's smart to have both (auto brightness and auto backlight) activated simultaneously. There's been some discussion about draining battery when using "Automatic brightness" but I couldn't find any definite conclusion on that topic.

What would you suggest? Should I leave activated both or turn off one?
