Social Networking Causing Force Closes

I have stumbled across a problem, when i try to use facebook or twitter apps the "android.process.acore" force closes.

I did a bit of researching and it apparently has something to do with the android contacts, and one solution was to clear all the contacts data in applications >> manage applications.

But this did not work, i encountered this problem again when i re-flashed the rom "ginger dmd 4.000.07 GEN1".

I'm out of ideas, does anyone else have this problem ? or know how to fix it ?

I have the exact same problem. Facebook causes the same errors. I've just had to uninstall Facebook completely. Yet another reason I'm using Google+ more :P

I had the same problem today. I've tried ALL solutions I found, but nothing worked exept keeping Facebook sync unused. But I want to have FacebookSync. I tried other things and found a better solution.

Normaly dmd uses the AOSP Dialer, but Acer-dialer is also available. If you use the Acer one, your acore problem is gone!!!!!!

Try it. For me it worked perfect.
