Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 (edited) Managed to get my sister a decent deal on a Nexus One, so she wants to move her LCD OSF on, however it's not the best one out there, so I told her I'd get some opinions on how much to ask for. I'll let the (huge) pictures do the rest of the talking... That should be just about everything covered! I know they're holding their value quite well, but I'm guessing they tend to be in better nick than this, apparently she only dropped it the once. Edited October 15, 2011 by Rusty!

Just a few superficial scratch's where it "jumped" out of my hand :)

The back cover isn't yellow, but the room the pictures were taken in is :lol: as for the Orange logo, I expect it got worn away. I got her a gel case for it back in April, she decided against using it :rolleyes:
Guest Maxsas360 Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Gel cases are bad, because they make your phone bulky and they tend to get yellow (Sofiz - make yellow ones lol), because of oxdisation (Did I spell it right?), but I have a Smoked Grey one, so It's not visible

Guest sej7278 Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 (edited) is it me or is the screen massively cracked - is it the lcd itself or just the cover? the white ones are plasticy not rubberish like the greys which is probably why the logo rubbed off and it doesn't look like the case fits together well. considering a brand new skate is £119, i'd say about half that if you're lucky, OSF's for parts are going for £30-50 how the hell are new blades selling for more on ebay than argos/tesco/amazon/play/etc. they're going for £140+ that's insane, at one point you could buy a new OSF for £70! Guest Rusty! Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 It's just the digitizer, the LCD underneath is fine and despite the crack, that area of the digitizer is still 100% functional. She was quite lucky in that respect really.

It would need to be usable, but scratches, cracks etc aren't an issue as once it's set up I won't be interacting with it much. Dunno the rules on this sort of thing on Modaco, but if I say £55 and you've got yourself a deal? If this isn't allowed please point me to somewhere where me and Rusty could discuss this if he's interested
