[Guest my woodwork]

At my time of life (I'm 76) I am struggling with the intricacies of this forum. It has taken me an hour to find out how to post a question. The search facility did not recognise "how to post". But now that I am here - am I in the correct forum? - I have just acquired an ASUS Transformer and I am struggling with Android on this tablet (seems very different to Windows 7). What I have read on the forum so far seems to be all about mobile phones - so back to my question - am I in the correct forum? If not, can anyone point me in the right direction to seek beginners help? Thanks, my woodwork.
