No 2G Roaming on Three with CyanogenMod Blade

Hi,

When using CyanogenMod 7 on the blade, I do not get 2g roaming when on Three UK. When using the stock B05 ROM, I was able to connect to Orange and get EDGE data without any problems. Usually when there is no coverage for 3g, Three phones switch to Orange for 2g coverage, however on CM7 it does not work for me. Trying to manually select Orange gives the error "Unable to connect to this network at this time, please try again later"

I have tested my phone on 7.0.0, N102, N122 and most recently N218.

I am pretty sure that it is not the USIM as it can be used in my LG Optimus and 3 Skypephone without a problem on both 3g and 2g.

It is possible, however, to use Orange 2g when using a T-Mobile SIM Card.

I will test a few more 3 USIMs later when I have a chance.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I have included my radio log from /dev/log/radio in case it helps.

3 UK do not allow you to use the 2g service in areas they consider to have a good 3g signal. This is because they have to pay extra as they don't own their own 2g infrastructure.

Just tested my other Three UK SIM in the Blade, and it's working on Orange.... Might have a case of a SIM gone bad.... mad.gif

It also might just be refusing to let me manually set my own network sad.gif
