Guest josantonio Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Hello, a few days ago I bought this phone. I started to load applications and now I get the message that the internal storage is full and no more applications can be loaded. As I've read somewhere I can expand the space allocated as part of the memory sdrom. But for this to do root the phone. I tried several ways of doing: SuperOneClick, universal android ... but none works. Now I discovered this excellent forum and I would appreciate if you help me to know how to do it. The phone is version 2.3.5 kernel 2.6.35.7-perf EMEA GEN1 AcerLiquid 4.000.07 MT. Sorry for my poor English.

Guest noogai93 Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) hi i am also stuck here, I have the official 2.3.5 version ROM however i cannot Root my phone even after flashing the superuser program as everytime a program requests Root excess it gives me a Force Close error prompt There is a stickied thread for rooting/custom rom install. To root you can just use a custom rom. But if your content on just flashing super user try flashing an earlier version, 3.0.2 and below. Ginger dmd uses SU 2.3.6 and it works fine. Guest josantonio Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Thanks for your response. Before the question I tried to find the solution in previous post, but due to my low level of English and knowledge on android, because there was a mix of versions and procedures, I was not clear how. Nor do I load a custom room now (I want to see how the phone and avoid problems with the warranty). When you have more levels of knowledge about the phone and I will. Now, with the indication of noogai93, I have more clarity on the post that refers to how to root with the software version I have. Thank you very much. PD.: I hope that when I have a higher level of knowledge on this subject and on the forum, I can help anyone in need.thanks
