currupt and missing album art and tags

Hi all

Just recently migrated from a desire to an s2 and overall really love it but having a weird issue with album art in the default player. A lot of my music has weird corrupt tags and missing or corrupt album art in the default player.

As shown in the attachment. The same files are fine in other players like poweramp.

I'm using mediamonkey to manage my music in case that matters. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Did you ever find out a solution to this?

I have same problem, same phone and using media monkey too.

No, I've been using subsonic to stream my music recently instead but am thinking of retagging using beets to.see if that helps

I was finally able to fix this, under tools - advanced tag management in media monkey there is an option to clean tags, I used this to clear the existing tags, then in the same menu used synchronize tags to write new tags to the files.

Before re-syncing the fixed files you need to go into settings - applications - all -media storage and do "clear data" and restart which will remove cached images.

This worked for me and I now have nice clean tags and album art.

I use Mp3tag to keep my tags and album art correct - very powerful and free :)
