Guest Bouncer5 Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) So I went to look check my phone, and it slipped from my hand, tried grabbing it, Felt like slow-mo, and just missed it, and watched it fall into the deep fat fryer, So I then had to watch it cook for 4 mins at 240°C. Obviously turn of the fryer, and tried to dig out with tongs. The interesting thing is it still works! Tad greasy, absolutly EVERYTHING work, Apart from the speak, So its now useless as a phone :/ Is it possible for the speakers to be user replaceable? Pictures of a surprisingly undamaged phone considering what it went through. * http://i.imgur.com/VNTle.jpg * http://i.imgur.com/Xir7Y.jpg * http://i.imgur.com/sJqCT.jpg * http://i.imgur.com/wDZHd.jpg The audio is VERY quite by still works... Obviously your warranty is now void. So you don't lose anything if you just open the little screws to check if the speaker is replaceable. If it is, you can just buy a seconhand non-working phone from ebay for example, and take the speaker
