I have a ZTE Blade with CyanogenMod 7-10112011 (Nightly) and I have had lately some problems when I finish a call because it shuts down the phone completely and it doesn't let me turn on the phone with the power button so I need to take the battery off and put it back to turn the phone on. I've replaced the dialer but no luck and I tried to find some info about this problem but found nothing as well. If you can provide me some info to fix this, I will be grateful.
Guest Pully Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Are you ending the call via onscreen buttons or is screen blank? Just wondering if screen just staying off rather than actually shutting down. If it's that then use the ZTE Blade Setting app to calibrate the proximity sensor.

After I performed it, it looks like the problem is solved. I'm not sure if it will last long because this changes from time to time. What happens sometimes is that the screen turns black immediately after I establish a call. But thanks a lot for the help, I hope it keeps working like a charm!
Guest grockstar Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Hi melgashop I had the same problem when I installed my first CM7 (227) yesterday - during every call the the screen was blanking and the only solution was to yank the battery. I tried the proximity sensor calibration mentioned by Pully, and also enabled 'always use proximity' in Settings -> Call Settings at the same time, and it's now working perfectly. So may be worth trying that as well if you have any more problems. I'm loving CM7 btw (coming from Swedish Spring 4 :o)
