Guest atatreedy Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Hi all, Yesterday when i got in from work i connected to my home wifi as normal. the little wifi strength bar appeared at the top of the screen as per usual. but if i started any apps that connect to the internet (news, internet, tweetdeck) they all came up with an internet connection error - as if i was off line? i hadn't done anything to the phone or software prior to this happening, it suddenly happened yesterday. I have a GEN 1 model approx 9 months old, running one of the early 2.2 TFT froyo roms. i do have the wifi fix installed. Switching off+on does not fix this. Wifi in my house is working fine. I have not touched the router either? APN/Mobile internet is working fine also, just wifi isnt? Any tips on how to try to fix this withiout re-installing a new custom rom? Thanks.

Guest nrev Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Any tips on how to try to fix this withiout re-installing a new custom rom? If all else is failing you could try deleting your wifi settings and reconfigure them manually. See post 7 and post 9 in the "CM7 wifi issue" thread. You might want to just rename the file or take a backup first, just in case this doesn't fix the problem.

Tried this yesterday to no avail... starting to think it might be my router though. we had a power cut that day so the settings might of got scrambled or somethig. I'll be back if i cant sort this out. Thanks guys!
Guest atatreedy Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Turns out it was my router after all, i reset and re-connected it and now everythings ok again...
