For get the best from ICS, you need a 3.0 kernel

i think so, and new hardware libraries i think

but in the emulator its working on a 2.29.6 kernel, like our kernel

EDIT: sorry i meant 2.6.29 tongue.gif you can say i wrote this post while sleeping laugh.gif

on Gingerbread when you tap the android version in About phone you get a picture, well i tried the same in 4.0.1 and got a new picture tongue.gif

its a picture of an Android bee with the word "REZZZZZZZ..." then the word disappears

there is a working port for nexus s on xda (We Scream for Ice Cream). It's easier to port it instead the sdk?

sorry for my bad english

NS has a totally different hardware with our Liquid. The only hope is that ICS is running on N1 well

Hey Ma7moud,which lines did you edited in init.rc? :)

bootclasspath to this :

/system/framework/core.jar:/system/framework/core-junit.jar:/system/framework/bouncycastle.jar:/system/framework/ext.jar:/system/framework/framework.jar:/system/framework/android.policy.jar:/system/framework/services.jar:/system/framework/apache-xml.jar:/system/framework/filterfw.jar
and added this line to the netd service
socket dnsproxyd stream 0660 root inet

the netd line i figured it out on my own, but the bootclasspath i got from the twitter account of a developer on xda biggrin.gif

and bad news everyone, no official ICS for Nexus One sad.gif

source : http://goo.gl/T9xRF

and the "We Scream for Ice Cream" rom from Nexus S is not the latest build and its missing some of the features of ICS
