Guest ltpitt Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Hi all! I'm fighting my way to use openvpn on our Acer liquid metal. Using openvpn installer I did everything but in the end I can't be connected. Is this related to tun removal (I have read that, afair, in Gingerounay release notes) Was anybody able to use openvpn? Guest !gm Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 use openvpnsettings and insmod the tun.ko at the beginning (you'll need the absolute path)

Guest !gm Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 (edited) mhm when I've fixed my busybox (ifconfig/route) problems - I can tell you whether LZO compression is working (now decided to reactivate my old old setup to validate my statements  ) I am using bridging with TCP, AES 128 and LZO-compression Edit: OK dude - I got it... http://code.google.com/p/android-openvpn-settings/issues/detail?id=26 using above parameters and the workaround with the static binary - LZO compression is working - that may help you Edited October 24, 2011 by !gm
