Guest Sebastian404 Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 I managed to get my hands on a ZTE Tureis and the one thing I've noticed is that fastboot mode seems not to work... I can reboot the device into fastboot, but then there seems to be no USB support, I've tried it on my MAC and Linux box, and its just not registering... I also noticed there is no USB support when you reboot into recovery mode... It is running Android 2.3.5 so that's going to be tricky to resolve..
Guest Atomix86 Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 Where did you manage to get one from? And how much was it?
Guest Sebastian404 Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 Someone bought one for me from eBay, I think it was £130. The lack of a working bootloader, and the the lack of a 2.3.5 root exploit (until the teamjoch exploit is in the wild) there is not a lot we can do with the device.
Guest unrandomsam Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 Wonder why ZTE released 2.6.32 Tureis source code

Have you tried rooting with zergRush (Think it supports 2.3.5)
Guest Sebastian404 Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Oh I'd not heard of that one, I'll check it out when I'm home next.. Tho the lack of a USB in bootloader makes me worry some

Guest Sebastian404 Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 Thing there has been a few tweaks to zergRush to make it more reliable. I tried the most recent version at the time, but just to be doubly sure I downloaded the most recent today (updated 3 days ago). still wont work
