How can I TOTALLY wipe and restore my Acer liquid metal?

What kind of steps should I follow to get it back to factory?

I want to be sure that everything (any file, any mod, any setting) I've ever done is deleted and substituted with original Acer content.

flash any bin (e.g. 4.000.07) you want and then do a hard reset with key combo ;)

volume up + volume down + power for about 3-5 seconds ;)

menu selection is like in recovery: with volume up/down and camera button ;)

Thanks, so this is different from a "factory data reset"? If so, what does it actually do different from factory data reset?

I have been googling but a lot of the results I am getting seem to be talking about a factory data reset and calling it a hard reset and I don't think they are the same.

they are the same ;) but factory reset is only available when you're able to enter Android and you're not stuck in a bootloop that's were the Hard reset comes ;)

Great: thanks :)

Another info would be tasty: what would a nandroid restore do?

It will totally wipe the nand or not?

Thanks!

yep but then you have custom recovery left and not a "total" wipe ;)

I'm still here looking for answers from the great beyond! :D

So - excuse me for the last time: I promise - if I do a nandroid backup of a freshly ADT-installed bin and I restore it (after fiddling and installing custom roms) I'm back to the original bin I flashed before? (I read again what I wrote and I barely understand myself)
