PLS help Acer liquid Ferrari usb problem

Please help me

i have installed USB driver of the phone and when I connect the phone to the USB port, it should display a small USB icon in the notification bar of the phone. Scroll down the notification bar in your phone, and select the option to connect to the PC. But it doesn't display this small USB icon and the PC doesn't make any action or sound to say that there is a USB plugged in. but it's charging the battery through the USB cable.

NOTE : it's not the original cable but i think it works because it is charging from the PC

Since you mentioned it.. why don't you try another cable. Eliminate the most simple 1st.

A phone can be charged without being detected.

i think the cable is working normally as it is charging but the PC has to make a sound of USB founder and it didn't.

however i will change the cable and try again.
