Backing Up Note Pad notes before wipe

Have convinced daughter she needs to upgrade from SFO standard to CM7.1 but she has a load of notes in the Notepad app and I can't find any way of backing them up for her, can't even find where they are stored. Anyone got any ideas. Backed up SMS and photos but she needs the notes for school.
