Guest Laika97 Posted October 29, 2011 Report Posted October 29, 2011 (edited) Yet another problem I've been using Cyanogen for around six days now, and every time I receive a call, my phone blacks out after disconnection. It doesn't respond to pressing the power button, the only way to get it running again is to take out and replace the battery. I'd like to known whether this is a known bug, 'cause it's gettin' real irritating... Is there a menu option anywhere? I've searched to no avail. Reflashing doesn't help either. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks, Laika Edited October 29, 2011 by Laika97
Guest t0mm13b Posted October 29, 2011 Report Posted October 29, 2011 (edited) Did you calibrate the proximity sensor via Zte Blade Settings app? Is the handset overclocked? :) Edited October 29, 2011 by t0mm13b
Guest Hoonboof Posted October 29, 2011 Report Posted October 29, 2011 I'm with tom on this one, your proximity sensor probably just needs recalibrated, takes a few seconds at most
Guest Laika97 Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 (edited) Hi, been offline a while. All the proximity sensor recalibration guides I can find either tell me to type in a code -this doesn't work since I don't have the ZTE dialler- or tell me to recalibrate it from settings. I have trawled through multiple options and sub-menus and have found nothing. Can anyone give me a complete path from settings? I've been looking under 'Call settings', among other places. Cyanogen is a very slick ROM; ideally I don't want to change but this is a major bug. And yes, my phone is overclocked, to 729.6 megahertz (don't ask) using CPU Master, but only since recently, and as I had the problem before this seems to make no difference. Any pointers would be most useful. Laika Edited October 30, 2011 by Laika97
Guest t0mm13b Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 Its in the App Drawer, not in settings, look for the app called 'Zte Blade Settings' - its a separate thing from the Android 'Settings'.... :)

Recalibrated, now to see whether it actually works...
Guest trevor33 Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 Hi, I have been having the same problem with my San Francisco. I removed Orange rom and replaced it with Ginger Stir Fry B27 and all seemed well. That is until I could not disconnect when I had an answer machine reply. There was no way to disconnect. The screen was blank. Onlye way to disconnect was to remove battery. Any help would be appreciated. Please note, I am a newby to this.

Guest trevor33 Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 (edited) I may be a bit thick here, but I cannot find anything to recalibrate the proximity sensor, please point me in the right direction. Panic over.......found the app, recalibrated.......all working now. Thanks all. Edited November 1, 2011 by trevor33
