Guest mickeystar Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 Im using gingerbread stir fry v21 on sanfransico and find whenever i listen to music the volume is too loud even on the lowest setting! ive searched around and seen that many people with other android phones have this problem, so its not just me with sensitive ears I cant find any app that makes smaller increase in media volume, only audio apps which change media volume/call volume Is there any app or rom that can help? i dont want to buy earphones with inline control
Guest popoyaya Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 (edited) This is what you need: http://android.modac...ume-control-v2/ You must have hypersensitive hearing as most people find the blade audio to be annoyingly quiet and have to resort to apps like volume+ to boost it. Guest heavyduty00 Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 yea i had same problem, just install the cm7 rom, it basically halved the music volume for me, dunno why though lol.
Guest wtel Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 i have the same problem, with poweramp i can adjust the preamp in its equalizer to solve the problem, while listening to the fm radio, there no way to further reduce the extremely loud volume with even just level 1
Guest popoyaya Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 Here's another one that looks interesting. Not sure how low it can go though: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.cb.volumePlusPro&hl=en
Guest jurrasstoil Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 I had he same problem (swiss blade bought Dec 10). Even the lowest setting was way too loud on every Rom and was only able to listen to music using the poweramp equalizer. CM7 for some reason brings the volume down to a perfect level. Volume set to high is loud and volume set to low is quiet, just like it should be.
Guest mickeystar Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 the app popoyaya does the job but i think i will change from ginger stiry fry to cm7 though as ginger stir fry isnt being updated
Guest shanky887614 Posted March 14, 2012 Report Posted March 14, 2012 i have this problem on my blade. i used to be fine but after a firmware change it upped volume, but then i have sensitive hearing. being a classical instrument musician you train your self to pick up subtle things in music so your hearing becomes sharper much like the army with marksmen (to give you an idea in windows 7. i have wmp on max and windows volume on 3 out of 100 and thats a nice listening volume for me. if i want it too sound really loud to me ill crank volume upto 10/100

Guest encore.neil Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 This phone already lacks volume and yet u guys want to get the volume more down :P
Guest oxyg3n89 Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 volume in dB is very dependent on headphone specifications. one pair of earphones at lowest volume could sound the same as others nearly at half volume setting(cheap stock ones). When you plug sensitive quality earphones volume controller may help. And reduce that additional sound hiss on low volumes too. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-5mm-HEADPHONE-EXTENSION-CABLE-VOLUME-CONTROL-A20-/160576960828?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item256321f93c
