Does Corvus5 SP1 Tether When Using Barnacle ?

Hi All,

I have recently updated my Advent Vega to Corvus5 SP1 ROM as in the ROM blurb it mentions being able to connect to ad-hoc wifi connections.

I have Barnacle Wifi Tether installed on my Orange San Francisco phone (ZTE Blade) and my son can tether his iPod touch but whatever I try, I cannot connect my Vega.

I was wondering if anybody could tell me if Corvus5 SP1 should connect to Barnacle straight off, or do I need to modify/tweak something on the Vega? I am assuming everything is OK with Barnacle as the iPod Touch connects without any problems every time.

Here is the run-down of the spec for each device.

Advent Vega:

Advent Stock Rom 1.10 base system image (from myadventvega.co.uk)

Corvus5 flashed on top of this (non CWM method)

ClockworkMod installed via Vega Tools

Corvus5 SP1 installed using CWM

Orange San Francisco (ZTE Blade)

Unlocked to Virgin and rooted
