How to rotate images

Yo! So yea I'm having trouble with this. I want to rotate my images that I have uploaded onto my vega from a HDD. This isn't a problem in the gallery app but it won't save the image like this. So the real question is, how do I Open, Rotate and then SAVE the image in it's new orientation???

QuickPic - select an image; rotate is then an option in the app menu.

download an app that can do it? just download the first photo editting app you come by

Yea but it only works for quickpic. It won't stay "rotated" if I look at it in file manager. I need something that will permanently rotate and save the image.

First rotate the image in QuickPic. Then crop the rotated image with crop set to max. Then hit save. The cropped saved image will preserve the rotation. How many images do you need to rotate?

As they come really. My family are emailing me pics (cause I'm away at the mo) n they've a habit if not sorting the darn things. Unfortunately I'm pretty anal with this sort thing so yea. Its just a personal idiosyncrasy. I'll use your technique

STOP - DO NOT USE THIS TECHNIQUE! I've just been browsing in my photo folder when I noticed the file sizes of the unrotated and rotated images. My test unrotated image is 2.40MB. The rotated cropped image is only 348KB. The crop must only be a screen grab! I'm sorry to have given you a false lead.
