Guest ijf Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Hi folks, Trying to get a new ROM on my latest San Francisco. I've rooted the phone, but RecoveryManager_v0.37b fails every time I try to start it up. I've checked, and the md5sum is correct. I've also cleared the cache, but it's still failing. Any advice? I note that in the installation procedure it says to use v0.36b, but the link goes to 0.37b and I can't find 0.36b anywhere. Not sure if this is the issue though. Cheers, Ian

Cheers, Ian Use fastboot or tpt (fastboot is probably best). The instructions are stickied other than you should use adb reboot bootloader instead of the hardware key combo.
Guest ijf Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 Urgh. It worked. In case you make the same mistake I did - make sure you root your phone before even attempting to install Recovery Manager. Moral of the story - don't try meddling with your phone when tired and ill.
