Guest gunapriyan Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 Dear Friend, Thanks for your nice reply. When i purchased Android 2.1 update ROM was there. I have tried, Message is not sent. And now i have updated "Libra Ginger" ROM in my blade. Phone is working fine with all features except Messaging. Please help me. I have enquired with Customer Care of my SIM. They told all settings are correct for me. What can i do? For the past 4 Months, I am facing this problem with my past ZTE Racer....Now ZTE Blade...... Thanks in advance. Regards, Guna Hi, do you have a custom rom, or are using the stock rom?

Some messengers try to send MMS instead of SMS which might be blocked by your provider. :D
Guest oxyg3n89 Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 Hey, my suggestion is to try "Go sms" application from market. After installation launch that program, then press menu: general/settings/send settings/ and tick on "Enable customized SMSC" then enter sms service provider number, which could be found on non-android phone in sms settings menu while sim card active. hope this gonna help Dear Mr.oxyg2n89, Good Morning. As per your direction, I have tried different SIM. But message is not send. Same Error "Message Not send" I think, I must alter my message settings. Please let me know if any suggestions. Guest ladiko Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 (edited) in my case, the sms service center was wrong. just type *#*#4636#*#* (or *#*#INFO#*#*) on the dialing keyboard and at the end of "phone information" you can check the SMSC number. I had the number of another provider in my country, don't know why. ask google for the correct number for your provider's smsc. Edited November 10, 2011 by ladiko
Guest Sosakovo Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 Hi, happened to me as well. Receive SMS - yes Send SMS - no The SMS centre # was somehow corrupted, don't know why :( I had to insert the SIM into my old HP phone > check the "SMS center number" stored on the SIM > retyped > saved (still on HP phone) > returned into Blade and... - it worked ! Kind Attn : Mr.Ladiko, I have tried *#*#4636#*#* in my dialing pad but its not working. Why sir? Regards, Guna *#*#4636#*#* only works on AOSP or Cyanogen Dialer (Probably Dialer2 as well) Not ZTE Dialer. (Or perhaps vice versa but I am pretty sure what I have written is correct).
