Advent Vega v2 Release Date

PC World Customer Service confirmed that the new Advent Vega 2 is scheduled to be released on 14th November 2011. They do not say, whether that is the date it is likely to actually be in the shops. They also claim not to have any information on the tablet's specification, but say they should have this nearer the release date.

As this date is only just over a week away and they are the people to handle any problems with the product, it is rather strange, if the technical service people really knew nothing of the new product!

Anyway, watch out for the 14th!

Here's a strange one, the Vega has been out of stock for months at my local PCW/Currys then this morning I checked again & they both now have stock of the "Old" version & no word of the V2 model......

Now that the 14th November "confirmed" release date has passed PC Worls's Knowhow team say they do not know, what is causing the delay and are now not giving any alternative dates whatsoever. Their highly helpful and knowledgeable advice is - keep watching the PC World web site! So maybe sometime, maybe never ....
