Root 2.3.5

Hi everyone. Im new to this website and I hope you can all help me with current and future queries. Anyway, I want to root my phone but i couldnt find an good way to do it. I have an Acer Liquid metal running 2.3.5. Can this method be used to root 2.3.5 as well as 2.3.6 ? The build number of my phone is Acer_liquidMT_4.000.0.1_AAP_GEN2 is it helps. Thanks in advance

PS. This is all so that I can free more internal memory on my phone instead of having to stick to something like 160mbs filled with default crap. Not to sure if rooting is the right way, but I read somewhere that it was so yeah

Yes, it's the same but use recovery 2.2 instead of 3.0 http://vache-android.com/files/Metal/recov...overyMT-2.2.zip
