Oops, think I may have done something wrong/bad/stupid

I was running the Liquid Next Rom and decided to try and update the Kernel. I Found the Chocolate Kernel, dl and flashed it with Malez-recovery. Now my Liquid just boots back into Malez?

Of course i didn't backup anything, I mean really "who" has time for that ;)

Am I screwed or am I missing a step?

Thanks Guys,

Calc

As far as I know, the chocolate kernel IS the one used by LiquidNext (and developed by the liquidnext devs in fact) so I don't think you have to flash it on top of LN.

As for your situation: from malez choose wipe-->wipe all, then re-flash liquid next rom.

The reason I wanted to change out the kernel was because there is no support for CIFS in the stock Liquid Next kernel, however checking into the Choco Kernel, all CIFS mod seem to be there,

Anyone know a better way to get the Cifs mods into Liquid Next, or is a Kernel update the best way? I'm open to ideas and would appreciate the help

Thanks

Good News!

IT's probably not advised, however, in stead of do the wipe->all, I was able to just reflash the ROM, it rewrote the boot info and was able to startup properly and keep all information

Thanks
