Any idea? thanks same here. my sister wants one. i'm thinking maybe this one of play is the cheapest: http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/17454614/Orange-San-Francisco-Android-Pre-Pay-Pay-As-You-Go-Mobile-Phone-Inc-Free-10-Airtime-Grey/Product.html?searchtype=allproducts&searchsource=0&searchstring=orange+san+francisco&urlrefer=search anybody found it cheaper than £85 (with 10 quid topup included)
Guest targetbsp Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 Are you aware that's not play selling that but a second hand price on Play Trade cause Play (presumably) don't have any?
Guest ejhollin Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 same here. my sister wants one. i'm thinking maybe this one of play is the cheapest: http://www.play.com/...urlrefer=search anybody found it cheaper than £85 (with 10 quid topup included) That looks pretty good. I got one about a year back from Orange directly with the £30 off and that was £80. That was considered an amazing deal so this one isn't far off.

Guest rwalton159 Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 I recomend buying from Orange as they appear to offer better support should a fault develop. Am I also correct in saying the likes of Play do not offer a 12mths warranty?
Guest targetbsp Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Orange with their existing customer discount if you know someone on PAYG who will buy it for you will be by far the cheapest way to get one.

Guest targetbsp Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 how do you obtain this orange discount? just walk in and say your a orange customer and show them a sim? I know you have to phone them and have a sim that has met certain top up and use conditions. ie, you can't just buy a payg sim today and get it, nor rely on the sim that came with your existing phone that you've never used. Beyond that i can't recall. :( As long as you know someone actually using orange payg you shouldn't have a problem. Hopefully someone that's bought one more recently can help out!

Play refunded me completely for an sdcard that went bad (within warranty period) and gave me back more than it cost for the return postage and the price had gone down since. (Paid me back about £21) new cost would have been £15 (But I paid £18 originally about 6 months ago). Cannot imagine that they would do something like that. (If its them selling it not marketplace).

From Carphone Warehouse payg upgrade site. (I would imagine its the same). Orange It must be 6 months since joining Orange or 6 months since last upgrade. A top-up must have been applied within the last 6 months. MIght as well get a skate now if you are going to have to pay full price at Orange.
