I also noticed this software. Haven't got enough time to try it on my OMC before it went toileted. If ZTE do provide online update for OMC through this software, we might have a good chance to reverse OMC to the Orange locked status. That would be great for retaining the warranty.

Ok, The blade software works well with omc, Checks phone and does all updating. But does not unlock phone and i have the wifi error back.

Sorry. It does not re lock phone

Probably a stupid question (I've got lots of them!) but will running this remove root and recovery?

Thanks for your experiment. In that case, I think this online update tool skips to flash the cefs.mbn. Actually in a certain version of official offline update tool, there is a option to choose whether flash cefs.mbn or not.

Is the updated version 2.3.4? If so, I think updating by this method is the same as Orange TPT.

Since they have cefs.mbn that means it can be used to lock right?

it'll rewrite cefs.mbn so would replace any items the unlocking cefs.mbn writes

All the cefs.mbn are exactly the same. I wonder what causes the lock?
