Guest xiaoyaoswim Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 As we know, the stock partition layout of Skate is terrible – very limited space for data. The good news is it could be repartition by a simple TPT process with proper layoutfiles. I have noticed that Amphoras from this thread has analysed and illustrated the stock layout as follows; Recovery: 6MB Boot: 4MB Splash: 1.5MB Misc: 0.5MB Cache: 57.5MB System: 220MB Userdata: 162.5MB OEM: 1MB Persist: 1.5MB He has also successfully further modified that layout by hex editing. Since there is already a nice little tool available for Blade by ricardopvz I’m wondering if some programmer could make a similar partition layout tool for our Skate.
Guest tilal6991 Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 I will try to make one but it'll have to be in vb.net - the only programming language I know lol.
Guest hecatae Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 do the blade libra tools not work?
Guest xiaoyaoswim Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 I will try to make one. Thanks in advance.
Guest xiaoyaoswim Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 do the blade libra tools not work? I think the partition sizes for blade and skate are slightly different.
Guest xiaoyaoswim Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 I will try to make one but it'll have to be in vb.net - the only programming language I know lol. I learned C backin college time, but I’ve forgotten everything at all!

Guest unrandomsam Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 I thought it made no difference in the end result whether vb.net or C# was used. Most of the logic can be Kanged from disaseembling ricadopvz's tool and looking at the partition resize shell script of wbaw's.
