Guest Eran Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 As i am a writer in the scene of PDA's and i personally own israel's biggest PDA portal call Pocket and also write a monthly column in a magazine over here i am in close contact with different companies. I have recently spoke to Panutat Tejasen (CEO of Jimmysoftware, company for making apps and games for pocketpc) and he confirmed that they are on working on an overclock utility for our SPV. They have already got some base as they have already released some time ago an overclock utility for the iPAQ which also has a ARM processor. I will let you know what happens and the project is evolving, Ziosoft should also send me a reply regarding their games Eran
Guest ClintEastman Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 fandabidozie!!! Thanks for the info Eran, i can't bloody wait!
Guest amo Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Won't a company as "big" as jimmysoftware want to charge for their software though (not a bad thing) but will want to certify the app first. This means it will be agggges before the util comes out, if orange would ever certify a program like this, which is unlikely
Guest Eran Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Jimmysoftware probaly won't charge a cent for this software, as they didn't charge for the iPAQ overclock utility. Unfortunately, it will be intended most probaly only for unsigned phone Eran
Guest aGeS Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 They should rather make something to operator unlock the phone instead...
Guest pibrahim Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 Er, why am I not particularly enthralled? Lets see, they've had Turjah and other games available for other platforms for ages, and despite all thats required being a small port, and the fact that they've promised several of us impending release for aggges now, they've still yet to materialise. I can't see their overclock utility being released in the foreseeable future.
Guest Eran Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 it might look strange due to them not working or at least publishing news about their work for the smartphone platform. I do not know about other software but i got a confirmation from panutat tejasen that they are trying to do so now Regards Eran Saghiv

I can't see their overclock utility being released in the foreseeable future. The three major games were available for the Smartphone platform, but were unsigned.
