Hi All,

I am having battery drain issue on cyanogenmod 7.0.3 on ZTE blade even after trying battery calibration. Now, I am thinking to change the kernel but 'Kernel manager lite' is showing 'no kernels are available for your device.'

Please suggest what is the best kernel (which can improve battery life) for ZTE Blade and how to flash.

Thanx.

Best to try a newer version of CM7 first, if that doesnt help then try a completely different ROM, such as Moldovan-Mile-High-Mountain-Pie or Blade Mix.

I firstly tried CM7.1.0-stable but the battery was draining very very fast, did the calibration thing but no luck. Reinstalled it again and did the calibration again but the same issue, then in last, CM7.0.3 but still battery life is not more than 10-12 hours when 2G data connection is always on, not using frequently, just for syncing my gmail, gtalk, facebook. 90% of time phone remains idle.

I have heard that people are using kernel like chevy's ultra low voltage kernel or Prime's kernel to improve battery life. So I am looking for the kernels which are compatible with my blade (XCD).

Thanx, Please help,
