Guest drsignal Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 hi , i am linux user (gentoo) i know linux expirience compile kernel etc. i am new with android first i order zte blade from china my question , if zte is real 512m and it lock , i can indentify it manually via lock at folder /dev/mtd or cat /proc/something? i want to check it manually zte with lock 512 show 256 have something that i can check ? without open the device ? i can see range of address or something ? if tpt fail i can connect the phone via serial console ? or Terminal and do recovery by myself dd if=img.bin of=/dev/mtd ? i mean dd of dump file back to restore original partition Thank :huh:

The difference is in appsboot (Whereas the TPT system is performed by oemsbl) so even if you did choose to try it you could still recover with another TPT.
