got the new Acer..what to do next?

I have just recieved my new Acer Liquid metal from Expansys. it came with version 2.3.6. I have used orange san francisco for a year and was very happy until i installed cyanogen which caused the phone to switch itself off randomly..it drove me mad.

Now I want to know what are the best things i could do with the Acer...Rooting, new flash..etc. Also I would like to be able to read Arabic language on my phone but that does not look to be supported by Acer..I managed to do it with SF when i installed cyanogen so is there a similar way with the Acer? all advice will be much appreciated.
