Hello guys.. I am facing a huuuuuuge problem..

I decided yesterday to switch my ZTE from GEN1 to GEN2 so as to take advantage of the 7.1.0 Cyanogenmod. I downloaded the gen1togen2 file, i unzipped, took off the battery, then put it back again, and switched on the phone by pressing the menu, volume up ans power on buttons..According to the procedure everything installed properly. But then the phone stopped working..I was trying to switch it on but the only thing i was getting was some vibrations and nothing else.

Then i downloaded the gen2togen1 file, i followed the same steps and after switching it on by pressing the three same buttons, everything installed properly, and then i was getting again the same random vibrations and the screen was switching on and off after showing me the android icon..

Now i can't even go to recovery mode so as to do something from there.. :(

The thing is that the mobile is not working..It does nothing..What should i do in order to fix it.. I need help guys and i will be more than glad if someone could help me..!!!!!Thank you so much..!!!

Best Regards,

George

Make sure you use the all in 1 version as it installs the ROM too. It sounds like you used the one that only upgrades the gen

Yeah, after you have upgraded the firmware from Gen 1 to 2, you are supposed to return to clockwork and install the new Gen 2 ROM, as, the Gen 1 ROM you currently have installed will not work with the new Gen 2 firmware... smile.gif
